Egokituz (Adapting, in Basque language) is a research group that applies Human-Computer Interaction techniques to the needs of people with disabilities. Created in 1985, it has developed methodologies and hardware and software tools to meet the needs of these users and, therefore, to contribute to their independent living and their socio-labor integration. In this review, a brief outline is made of its journey to date and its perspectives for the future.
